Mid-morning on a damp and sunny Autumn day in the Lake District. Strong sunlight shafts through the forest to highlight the beautiful fern and bracken colours found at this time of the year.
The aim of the composition was to balance the trees from the central tree outwards at each side. Within the frame I wanted to capture the wonderful sunlight piercing through the forest ultimately highlighting the autumn foliage.
