I timed the making of this image to coincide with when there was a mixture of green and gold leaves to give the shot more impact.
In a number of my photographs I like to capture movement within the frame, whether that is a wave, clouds or in this case leaves and branches. I think it can add an extra dynamic to the shot.
Here I used a B&W Circular Polariser together with a 0.9 and 0.6 Lee ND filters to extend the exposure to 13 seconds. I then waited until there was sufficient breeze to give me the effect I was looking for.
