In my eyes Staithes was made famous by a Landscape Photograph made by Joe Cornish. Ever since I set eyes on that image I have promised myself that when I visited the area, I too would make my own version of Staithes. The ideal lighting conditions would be during the Winter months but I was lucky to capture a late Spring sky complete with pinks and mauves. People were obviously settling down for the night as you can see the chimneys billowing smoke on this cool evening in April.
