The rock pavement at Saltwick bay, under the right conditions can act as a giant reflector for the sky. In the April skies above, the blue sky and white clouds are reflected back providing a brilliant blue reflection.
In the distance stands Saltwick Nab which is noted to look like a whale when viewed at certain angles.
The harder stone erratics provide superb foreground detail and I took a number of images on the day, some with the foreground erratic still in sun but it is this one with the predominant colour blue that for me works the best.
