As the very last embers of light played out over Staithes I shot an image as the occupants started to put their house lights on. It was a shame that many of the houses were holiday lets or empty meaning it wasn't as full of life as I first thought, hence the relatively low number of house lights.
After this it was a well earned walk down to the pub for a beer with the family.
