Cornwall
Holidays as a child - fond memories and stunning seascapes keep drawing me back.

Thrifts out for Summer
Many times I have visited Cornwall and the pink Thrift has either gone over or not been at its peak. So it made a nice change when I visited the magnificent Bedruthan Steps to see the flowers in prime condition! It was a little early in reality but the ones that were out were perfect. The rocks and the flowers make up a pattern of 3 horse shoes receding into the scene.

Capture
Words to follow…holidaying with friends many years ago my enthusiasm for landscape photography meant taking images when I could.
Porth Nanven
Porth Nanven does not shout its existence. If it wasn’t for my photography I doubt I would ever have found it. Hidden away down a narrow track to a very small car park between the cliffs. Each side of the track are Jurassic Park like plants with huge leaves and a small stream. We stayed for hours, spotting Basking sharks in the sea and clambering over the almost perfectly round boulders. We had a BBQ taking in the sights and sounds. A night never to be forgotten.
Alone in the Elements
This guy was sea fishing off Sennen Cove with a fairly rough incoming tide. On top of the swell there was an amazing sea mist that rolled in late in the afternoon and stayed until we had left late in the evening. I took a number of images with various wave patterns and spray. The one has a mixture of the waves crashing in, some incoming waves and the waves drawing from the shore in the foreground to add some further interest to the image.
Bedruthan Evening
I have visited Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall on a number of occasions and it never fails to impress with the sheer scale of the place. You can see couple of people on the beach between the sea stacks to give you an idea if you have not visited!
