The Lake District
A wonderful location anytime of year but I favour the glorious colours of Autumn

Light Fantastic
October 18th 2007 and probably the best lighting I have ever photographed. Standing in Wast Water in my wellies for over half an hour with little to no light. the sun was about to go down below the bank behind me. I had a few minutes before it was time to pack up. Then a last minute break in the clouds and the light strafed across the scene… I left that night knowing I had witnessed some magical light and hoped I had done it justice.

Flow
A wonderful walk with the family interspersed with some fantastic landscape photography opportunities. This view immediately caught my attention as I loved the flow of the water through the rocks with the hint of autumn colours on the far bank and the leaves scattered amongst the view. When capturing water I tend to try and keep some detail in the flow rather than making it a complete blur.
