Camarthen Castle
I wanted to capture that period of time when the Castle lights were on but there was still enough light in the sky to help balance the image. I was lucky to have such wonderful colours in the setting sun as to provide both a warm and cool light in the same scene.

Winter evening in Llandudno
Llandudno is the largest seaside resort in Wales and is located on the Creuddyn peninsula. We were visiting family over Christmas in Chester and decided to visit Llandudno for the walk and to allow me to take some images. It was bitterly cold and very windy and I spent a good couple of hours in this area photographing the waves crashing along the shore with the famous Pier in the background.
Witches Pool
Pwll-y-wrach is Welsh for "pool of the witch". This is a feature on the River Ennig near Talgarth in south Powys, Wales. You need to navigate a small, slippy and steep bank to get to this position. Its a fantastic looking waterfall with several cascades flowing through the rust coloured rock. The start of Autumn meant there were a number of coloured leaves that add some further colour and interest to the image.
